Happy New Year from The Icon Bar! That's your lot for 2006, and we'd like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last year. Special credit goes to those who have written articles, given us abuse, and Richard Goodwin who makes this site happen.
Chris Williams has given out the RISC OS equivalent of New Years Honours
on his website. No real surprises with Martin Wuerthner gaining this (last) years top award.
What are your hopes and predictions for RISC OS, and the wider technology world in 2007?

Slow news day? Must be, if you're posting exactly the same response you always do whenever your name gets mentioned:

Careful, Mr. Vigay, or we might replace you with some kind of automaton... a virtual you... but what would we call it? ________ Cheers, Rich.

Then why does Paul Vigay get a picture? Are you serious? Haven't you been around here long enough to detect a theme occurring?
The boring answer is that we have a stupid picture of Paul for just about every situation (in this case, beery celebration), and it's a long-running joke to inflict them on the TIB-reading public. ________ Cheers, Rich.

Whatever. I just wish he'd put his energies to writing *RISC OS* games.

More of a tradition than joke, I thought I find it funnier the more we do it I've started something similar on G&T. Anytime we do anything on Rob Grant now, I'm going to find a random picture of any Rob Grant who *isn't* the one we're talking about to use... |
